You will be picked up at your accommodation in Cape Town by a Fly in Safari Company guide in an air-conditioned vehicle. You will enjoy a leisurely drive to the V&A Waterfront from where you will board a ferry to Robben Island. Since the end of the 17th century, Robben Island has been used for the isolation of mainly political prisoners. Former president of South Africa spent 18 years on Robben Island. Today Robben Island is a World Heritage Site and Museum. The tour takes you around the island, through the prison and other sites of interest. Return to Cape Town around lunchtime. Your guide will transfer you to Signal Hill where you will enjoy a picnic lunch. From Signal Hill you can admire spectacular views of Cape Town and Robben Island. You will be transferred back to your accommodation after lunch.
